Moving from New York to Florida

After graduating from college in New York I was quickly able to land myself a job with a reputable company in Florida.  The idea of moving from New York to Florida was an exciting prospect to me.  I was truly looking forward to beautiful weather, making new friends, and finding a cute little two bedroom house.  I did not have a lot of belongings so when I hired a long distance moving company I let them know that I would be unpacking my belongings myself but I enlisted their help with the packing.

The company that I hired provided me with great price quotes, no hidden charges, and upfront honesty about all of my options.  While I was on the phone with them I explained that I would be relocating to Florida and that I would choose the self-packing option.  The man on the phone gave me some friendly suggestions without being pushy.  He told me that if I wished to pack my belongings myself that it would be a good idea considering hiring the company to help me with my fragile items.

After about twenty minutes of going over my options I realized that it was in my best interest to hire the company so that my breakable items were being handled by a professional.  I also realized that it was best to hire the company to help me load all of my heavy appliances rather than trying to do it myself.  The movers that came to help me were great.  They worked rather quickly and had all of my fragile items and appliances loaded in no time.  In such a short time I was ready to go.

I managed to make the drive on my own with no problem.  Once I arrive at my new home the same company provided me with help unloading all of my belongings.  I knew that I would be tired from the long drive and the help was appreciated.  They were professional and courteous.  I never realized how simple moving  could be with the help of professionals.  I now recommend these services to all of my friends, family and co-workers.
