    • History

Established in 1984 Skip O'Toole started this business as a way to pay for college. He bought an old pickup truck for $200, put an add in the paper, and waited for the phone to ring. He went to work accepting any job that came his way. Skip earned enough to pay for his college education at Mizzou. He attended classes and ran his business on weekends and college breaks until he graduated with a degree in Journalism. Skip's business was doing well, so putting his dreams of becoming a famous columnist aside, he focused all his energies on expanding his hauling business. Soon he had several employees, a few nicer trucks, and a full schedule. Later he would purchase bobcats to include demolition, excavating and grading to his services, and roll-off trucks with containers to include dumpsters to accomodate his "do it yourself" customers.Fast forward a few years, add a wife, 2 cute kids, a dog, cat, potbellied pig, 12 chickens, numerous guinea hens and a house in Eureka, and voila~ the family business.
